About the Role

  • Collaborate with the audit partner to review and enhance audit methods and departmental development.
  • Plan and conduct risk-based audits to ensure the correctness of all business processes and evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control system.
  • Identify potential weaknesses and improvement opportunities in company workflows and communicate recommendations and best practices.
  • Independently create precise and informative audit reports with clear recommendations for management and monitoring implementation.
  • Advise on internal control systems, business topics, and process optimization.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the entire audit process and adhere to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gain a holistic understanding of business processes and develop audit standards.

Requirements

  • A degree in business administration with a focus on accounting, finance, or controlling.
  • Prior experience with audit processes, internal controls, or risk management.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, analytical software knowledge is a plus.
  • Responsible and structured work ethic with the ability to articulate information clearly.
  • Willingness to travel approximately two weeks per month within Germany and abroad.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development.
