Safeguarding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Safeguarding Specialist to join our team at Siegfried. As a key member of our safety and security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our chemical plants and facilities.

• Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical expertise and support to plant operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
• Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety procedures, risk assessments, and incident reports.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure our facilities and processes remain compliant and safe.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, process safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety or process safety role, preferably in a chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to safety and compliance issues.
