We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the Global Production Center Scharnhausen. As a key member of our supplier quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the product and process quality of our suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze supplier quality results to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance
- Validate and initiate chargebacks to suppliers for scrap, rework, and failure costs
- Support product launch activities and ensure the quality of purchased parts and production processes
- Participate in product and process FMEA activities to identify and mitigate quality risks
- Improve quality standards, processes, and concepts at suppliers to enhance quality, cost, and delivery reliability
- Technical degree in manufacturing or production technology or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in quality management, preferably in supplier management
- Expertise in quality methods, including Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Strong technical knowledge of process and project management, quality management systems, and production processes
- Certified process auditor according to VDA6.3
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
- Excellent IT skills, including SAP and MS Office
- Leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with different hierarchy levels
- Strong teamwork skills, diplomatic assertiveness, and advanced training and moderation skills
