About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Application Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our global go-to-market team, you will be responsible for driving design wins at targeted Automotive customers in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Win Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy to drive design wins at targeted Automotive customers in the EMEA region.
  • Pre and Post Sales Support: Provide technical support to customers in Europe, including pre-sales activity, product demonstrations, and post-sales support.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical guidance on feasibility, specification, and implementation choices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and factory experts to develop technical responses to customer RFI/RFPs.
  • Training and Support: Install and train customers on development systems, DKs, SDKs, and tools.
  • Reference Design and Development: Prepare reference designs and development systems for customers, reviewing customer-facing materials and releases.
  • Technical Mediation: Facilitate technical communication between customers and factory teams.
  • Internal Communications: Provide regular updates on key customer activity, identifying obstacles, success criteria, decision makers, timing, and critical factors for sourcing.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in customer-facing roles involving embedded SoC semiconductor solutions with significant systems, tools, and software elements.
  • Automotive Experience: Experience working with Automotive customers and a history of success in customer product launches.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of end equipment in automotive ADAS, with emphasis on video and image processing, radar, and other environmental sensing technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with established customer relationships and the ability to navigate large, complex customer organizations.
  • Language Skills: Business fluent in English and German.
