About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at DEGES Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading complex infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to project teams, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with external partners, including negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies, maintaining high-quality project deliverables.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing project team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a focus on construction engineering.
  • Experience: Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, with expertise in contract management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and quality assurance. Proficiency in digital tools and methodologies, such as BIM.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to project management.
