Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Commercial Contract Manager to join our team at Knauf. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the negotiation, drafting, and review of procurement contracts for direct and indirect materials, service agreements, CAPEX, and maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of procurement contracts to ensure compliance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, procurement colleagues, and the legal and finance teams to ensure contracts meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments that may impact operations and contracts.
  • Monitor and manage contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
  • Provide training and guidance to procurement staff on contract management practices and category-specific aspects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, IT, or a related field. Advanced studies in law, such as a Juris Doctor (JD) or a Master of Laws (LLM), with a concentration in contract law, commercial law, or technology law, is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in contract management and global contracts, with a healthy assertiveness and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite, as well as knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP), is advantageous.
