Join our team as: EMEA Retreading Production Planner

The Role
Goodyear Tyres is seeking a dedicated Production/Supply Planner to enhance our Retread Supply Chain team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments including production, quality assurance, supply chain, sales, product development, and suppliers. Your contributions will be essential in orchestrating schedules, facilitating seamless operations, and upholding excellence across all functions. If you possess a keen eye for both overarching strategies and critical details, you will thrive in our environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee order processing and delivery planning for retreading clients, aligning with customer needs and Goodyear's operational guidelines.
  • Develop and modify the monthly production schedule based on material availability, capacity, factory strategies, and customer demand.
  • Ensure product availability for our clientele.
  • Collaborate with inspection and casing management centers, as well as casing suppliers.
  • Analyze customer requirements, planned production volumes, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate and implement strategies in response to supply shortages in close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage inventory for our products within Goodyear warehouses.
  • Assist and engage in various projects.
  • Evaluate relevant KPIs and prepare customer-related reports, including supplier ratings, delivery performance, and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

Education

A degree in economics with a focus on Supply Chain is preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant experience in Production/Supply planning or logistics, or completed commercial training such as an industrial clerk in supply chain or a forwarding and logistics clerk.

Languages

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German and French is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others while also being capable of independent work.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with familiarity in SAP/ERP being a plus.
  • A structured and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify issues early and proactively devise solutions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with all levels of personnel and departments in a diverse setting.
