About the Role
Goodyear Tyres is in search of a dedicated Production/Supply Planner to enhance our Retread Supply Chain team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments including production, quality assurance, supply chain, sales, product development, and suppliers. Your expertise will be crucial in orchestrating schedules, ensuring efficient workflows, and upholding exceptional standards across all areas of operation. If you possess a keen ability to see both the broader picture and the finer details, you will thrive in our environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage order processing and delivery planning for retreading clients, aligning with customer needs and Goodyear's operational guidelines.
  • Develop and modify the monthly production schedule based on material availability, overall capacity, factory strategy, and customer demand.
  • Guarantee product availability for our clientele.
  • Collaborate with our inspection and casing management centers, as well as casing suppliers.
  • Analyze customer requirements, planned production volumes, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate and implement strategies in response to supply shortages in close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Oversee inventory management for our products in Goodyear warehouses.
  • Assist and engage in various projects.
  • Evaluate relevant KPIs and generate customer-related reports (including supplier ratings, delivery performance, forecast accuracy, etc.).

Qualifications Required

Education

Ideally, a degree in economics with a focus on Supply Chain, or a high school diploma complemented by experience in Production/Supply planning or logistics, or completed commercial training, such as an industrial clerk in supply chain or a forwarding and logistics clerk (m/f/d).

Language Proficiency

Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German and French is a plus.

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with SAP/ERP is advantageous.
  • A structured and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify issues early and proactively develop solutions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the capacity to interact effectively with employees at all levels in a diverse environment.
