About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Backend Developer to join our Core & Integrations team at AppLike Group. As a key member of our Demand Solutions department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend infrastructure, working closely with our Data Science team to optimize our ML algorithms, and collaborating with our international team to scale our adtech platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of our Go backend, maintaining our microservice architecture and ensuring reliable asynchronous communication with our frontend.
  • Work with our Data Science team to solve complex math problems and integrate their solutions into our application.
  • Collect and aggregate billions of daily API events in our Kafka and Kinesis streams, querying them from our data lake in seconds.
  • Collaborate with our international team to scale our adtech platform beyond hundreds of millions of monthly active users.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience building web applications in Go.
  • Proficiency in working with key-value databases (Redis, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Scylla) and optimizing their use for high-volume traffic.
  • Experience profiling Go applications and identifying bottlenecks.
  • Experience working on large Go applications with high traffic (>100e6 requests per day).
  • Open to relocating to Hamburg, Germany.
