Freelance Composite Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Composite Design Engineer to join our client's team in developing Super Sports Cars for Street and track use. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and project engineering of lightweight vehicle structures, including body, chassis, and crash structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specification of laminate, cores, and inserts, as well as jig and tool design for layup, bonding, and fixing methods.
  • Design and project engineering of lightweight vehicle structures, including body, chassis, and crash structures.
  • Effective communication with the department and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience using Catia or NX.
  • Experience using Windchill.
  • 5+ years of experience in Automotive/Motorsport.
  • 5+ years of experience using composite materials.
