Freelance Composite Design Engineer

Industry: Automotive/Motorsport

We are seeking an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join our client's team and contribute to the development of Super Sports Cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specification of composite materials, including laminate, cores, and inserts.
  • Development of jig and tool designs for layup, bonding, and fixing methods.
  • Project engineering of lightweight vehicle structures, including body, chassis, and crash structures.
  • Effective communication and technical documentation within the department.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Catia or NX software.
  • Experience with Windchill.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Automotive/Motorsport industry.
  • 5+ years of experience working with composite materials.
