We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team at E Energy Markets GmbH as a Senior Data Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and capturing commercial opportunities in existing and new markets for E.ON in a variety of energy commodities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute hedging and risk mitigation strategies for positions stemming from origination transactions.
- Deliver on/above budget and contribute to E.ON's earnings target.
- Liaise and steer internal stakeholders in structuring, assessment, and approval of transactions.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- University degree in economics, econometrics, finance, physics, or engineering.
- Experience in developing pricing tools for market-based valuation of flexible power offtakes, gas storages, cross-border capacities, and other physical energy assets.
- Familiarity with master trade agreements, such as EFET and ISDA.
- Persistence and self-motivation, with the ability to excel in an unstructured environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required; preferably able to speak additional European languages.
- Flexible working hours.
