About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Architect to join our Automotive Connected Car Technology Operation Team at Hyundai AutoEver Europe GmbH. As an IT Technical Architect, you will play a key role in supporting and leading Hyundai/KIA/Genesis connectivity platforms, focusing on in-house systems, infotainment, and IoT, primarily in the back-end area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support and Leadership: Provide technical support in the context of architecture/development and topics, and provide technical leadership within the team and supporting other departments.
  • Customer Needs and Technical Architecture: Understand customer needs and the technical architecture of connected car systems and services.
  • System Design and Enhancement: Design the technical architecture of the systems and support enhancements and projects for connected car platforms.
  • Car Connectivity Projects: Engage in car connectivity projects and support the technical parts.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, and minimum 6 years of relevant experience as an IT Architect position.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in software development (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Python, HTTP), experience in backend platform / API (XML, SOAP, REST, UML, etc.), and experience in databases (SQL - PostgreSQL, Mongo DB).
  • Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, and very good English skills - spoken and written.
  • Travel Requirements: Travelling to other EU countries may be required.

Nice to Have

  • Cloud and Microservices Experience: Knowledge of multi-tier and cloud-based services (Microsoft Azure, AWS), and experience in developing microservices (RESTful) based on open-source products (Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Tomcat, Hibernate, JUnit, Log4J, JMeter).
  • IoT and Connectivity Experience: Knowledge of IoT related connectivity protocols (HTTPS, TCP/IP, REST, MQTT, AMQP, WebSocket, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.).
