Job Title: IT Technical Architect

Join Hyundai AutoEver Europe GmbH as an IT Technical Architect and be part of our Automotive Connected Car Technology Operation Team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Architect to support and lead our Hyundai/KIA/Genesis connectivity platforms. Your main responsibility will involve:

  • Providing technical support in the context of architecture/development and topics
  • Understanding customer needs and the technical architecture of connected car systems and services
  • Providing technical leadership within the team and supporting other departments, playing a key role in designing the technical architecture of the systems
  • Supporting enhancements and projects for connected car platforms
  • Engaging in car connectivity projects and supporting the technical parts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as an IT Architect position
  • Hands-on experience in software development (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Python)
  • Experience in backend platform / API (XML, SOAP, REST, UML, etc.)
  • Experience in databases (SQL - PostgreSQL, Mongo DB)
  • Very good English skills - spoken and written
  • Knowledge of multi-tier and cloud-based services (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
  • Experience in projects regarding connected vehicle feature implementation
  • Experience in developing microservices (RESTful) based on open-source products (Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Tomcat, Hibernate, JUnit, Log4J, JMeter)
  • Knowledge/experience in common software development tools and building CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of IoT related connectivity protocols (TCP/IP, REST, MQTT, AMQP, WebSocket, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.)
