Senior Maintenance Planning Specialist

Position Overview: In the role of Senior Maintenance Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical planning of maintenance activities within the Maintenance Control Center of Lufthansa CityLine. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely operations while considering economic factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and monitoring all due maintenance tasks with a focus on safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Overseeing and planning modifications and campaigns, including maintenance work and developing staggering plans for execution.
  • Providing feedback on completed work packages and, if necessary, re-planning maintenance activities.
  • Assigning planning priorities to scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Creating and adjusting work packages based on the availability of essential resources (personnel, hangar space, materials, tooling, etc.) and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations for MROs.
  • Planning aircraft reserves and releases for maintenance activities within the scope of Line and Base Maintenance.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a state-certified technician or industrial master in aviation technology or CAT B, along with several years of relevant professional experience in work planning and/or management within an aviation technical operation or equivalent knowledge.

  • Expertise in AMOS/MS Office.
  • Advanced knowledge of aviation legislation.
  • Proficient in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the aircraft operated by Lufthansa CityLine is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and economic thinking abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and organizational talent.
  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly grasp new concepts.
  • Flexibility and effective time management skills.
  • Team-oriented with a communicative work style.
  • Assertiveness and persuasive skills.
