Job Summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Drive sales growth through effective merchandise presentation, visual merchandising, and sales floor management
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
    • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to sales associates to improve performance
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising
    • Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage and improve inventory turnover
  • Merchandise Presentation
    • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer experience
    • Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and maintained
  • Store Appearance
    • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve store appearance and ambiance
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with sales associates, management, and corporate teams to ensure seamless store operations
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to sales associates to improve performance
  • Problem-Solving
    • Identify and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Develop and implement strategies to prevent customer complaints and issues

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
    • Excellent customer service and sales skills
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
