Job Summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Drive sales growth through effective merchandise presentation, visual merchandising, and sales floor management
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
    • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to ensure team members are equipped to succeed
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and loss prevention
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve store efficiency and productivity
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with store leadership, sales associates, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless store operations
    • Collaborate with other store leaders to achieve company goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail management or a related field
    • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail environment
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive growth
    • Excellent customer service and sales skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
