We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified researcher to join our team at the Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes of the School of Economic Disciplines, particularly in the Master's degree programme in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation.
Key Responsibilities- Support research projects in the area of sustainability and sustainable accounting, finance & governance
- Publication of research results in relevant international journals
- Supervision of students and assistance with administrative tasks
- Conception, and organization of conferences, and workshops
- Carrying out your own research project (Promotion) according to the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz
- Teaching commitment: 2 semester hours per week
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management or related field with excellent grades
- Strong interest in sustainability accounting, finance and governance issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Motivated to conduct high-quality research and teaching
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills with an excellent command of English (knowledge of German is desirable)
- Excellent at quantitative and qualitative reasoning and have a strong command of Stata and/or R
