Role Overview:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven Portfolio Developer to enhance our sales initiatives in the Digital Manufacturing sector.
Your expertise in manufacturing and software sales will be crucial in crafting a persuasive sales narrative and spearheading portfolio development efforts.
You will take charge of fostering the growth and evolution of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across multiple industries within the EMEA region.
Key Areas of Expertise:
- Medical Device Manufacturing: This sector is rapidly evolving and plays a vital role in enhancing healthcare delivery and patient outcomes across the region. Collaboration with industry stakeholders, ongoing investment in R&D, and adherence to regulatory standards are essential for driving innovation and addressing healthcare challenges in the EMEA market.
- Electronics Manufacturing, OEM & EMS: The EMEA region hosts a significant portion of the global electronics manufacturing landscape, including both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers. OEMs design and produce electronic products under their brand, often outsourcing certain manufacturing processes to EMS providers while maintaining control over product design and marketing strategies.
- Electrification of Vehicles and the Battery Sector: The surge in electro mobility is increasing the demand for batteries. Manufacturers and machinery builders can respond to this demand by adopting a Digital Enterprise approach, which merges the physical and digital realms, resulting in enhanced visibility, speed, and efficiency across the production lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Identify target sectors and establish clear market expectations for the assigned portfolio domains within the Medical Devices, Electronics, and Battery sectors.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams as a trusted advisor, providing insights on planning, execution, and evaluation of portfolio development activities.
- Offer feedback to Global Portfolio Developers regarding content and lessons learned, suggesting enhancements to improve materials.
- Contribute to the creation of new campaigns within your designated portfolio domains.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across various countries and regions within the Zone.
- Mentor and guide colleagues within the Zone on portfolio development strategies in specific domains.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in manufacturing and software sales.
- Demonstrated success in driving portfolio development and achieving measurable outcomes in the digital manufacturing landscape.
- In-depth understanding of the Medical Devices, Electronics, and Battery sectors, including market trends and customer challenges.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a knack for identifying target sectors and formulating effective go-to-market strategies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering a compelling sales message to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and independent, with the capacity to manage oneself and devise solutions for complex challenges.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with sales, pre-sales, and other cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 25%.
