Position Overview:
Join Mercedes-Benz Group AG, a leader in the automotive industry, renowned for producing premium and luxury vehicles. The Drive Application department plays a crucial role in shaping the future of vehicle performance, focusing on driveability and operating strategies for both hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in collaborative projects within the development team.
- Conduct and analyze Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) tests, preparing findings for departmental review.
- Modify and validate test scenarios on designated test vehicles.
- Utilize Vector CANape and MATLAB for measurement analysis and evaluation.
- Innovate new assessment techniques to enhance control of components such as electric motors, transmissions, and combustion engines, as well as improving driveability and engine start-up processes for hybrid vehicles.
- Manage software project versions using GitHub.
- Regularly present findings and updates to the team.
- Update control units within the powertrain systems.
- Assist in daily operational tasks.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a degree program in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C, Java, Python, or MATLAB is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, structured approach to tasks, and goal-oriented mindset.
