OT Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OT Systems Engineer to join our team at ADM. As an OT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial automation systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Incident Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware incidents related to industrial automation systems.
- System Installation and Upgrade: Install and upgrade industrial automation software and hardware, including operating systems and OT software applications.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide 2nd line support for industrial automation systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients to promote a first-class level of customer service.
- OT Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and support OT equipment, including infrastructure, printers, scanners, mobile devices, servers, and workstations.
- User Account Management: Manage user account information, permissions, and rights, including groups within the OT Domain/AD.
- OT Domain/AD Administration: Administer the OT Domain/AD, including user account management, group policy management, and security settings.
- IT-OT Security: Administer IT-OT security measures, including WSUS, DLP, AV, Whitelisting, and other security tools.
- Desktop Security: Identify and troubleshoot problems related to desktop security for OT-IT devices.
- New Technology Evaluation: Participate in the evaluation of new technologies in coordination with team specialists.
- Backup and Recovery: Monitor and ensure that tape and disk backups are run successfully on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Documentation: Create, maintain, and publish relevant support documentation to assist users in resolving incidents and service requests.
- Project Support: Provide project support on imaging, testing, and rollouts.
- Installation Support: Aid and support on installations for cabling systems, including local area network cables, network interface cards, and switches.
- Third-Party Support: Aid and support with third-party suppliers and vendors for installations, repairs, and maintenance on OT systems.
- Executive and VIP Support: Provide executive and VIP support to ADM users on-site.
- Advanced Support: Provide advanced support to GT for complex projects.
- Education: 2-year degree in an IT/OT-related field or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent IT/OT work experience and required performance level.
- Business Relationship Management: Good attention to business relationship management and partnering with higher-level business users to ensure best levels of service are met.
- Project Methodology: Familiarity with project methodology.
- Autonomy and Flexibility: Flexible and autonomous with good attention to detail and ability to show initiative.
- Workload Management: Ability to plan and prioritize workload and perform under pressure.
- Communication Skills: Good English language skills and willingness to work flexibly and with enthusiasm.
- Driving Permit: Possession of a valid driving permit.
- Availability: Flexible to work during weekends, public holidays, or after business hours on rare occasions.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10, Windows Servers 20XX), managing users, groups, and computers in Active Directory, and IT-OT security measures.
- Security Skills: Knowledge of security skills and experience, including antivirus software, blacklisting and whitelisting, systems management, and WSUS-based functionalities.
- Network Standards: Familiarity with OT network standards, including DMZ and firewalls, ISA network level structure, IP structure, DHCP, and DNS.
- Active Directory: Familiarity with Active Directory and domain administration, including user and rights administration, and technical system administration.
- Technical Devices: Familiarity with technical devices, including COM servers, scanners, cameras, and setup of devices with static IP and telnet usage.
- RF Devices: Understanding of RF devices, including 4xx/8xx MHz and Bluetooth.
- Wi-Fi Architecture: Understanding of Wi-Fi architecture, including Wireless HART, etc.
- Gateways: Familiarity with gateways, including VPN, OPC, Profinet, and Profibus.
- Server-Based Systems: Familiarity with server-based systems, including server hardware, virtualization, terminal servers, and Windows 10 LTSB/LTSC.
- Interfaces: Familiarity with interfaces, including RS232, 422, 485, USB, and special interfaces/interface cards.
- OT Related Processes: Familiarity with OT-related processes, including backup processes and monitoring systems for technical devices.
