About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OT Endpoint Engineer I to join our team at ADM. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial automation systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and OT software applications.
  • Software Installation and Upgrades: Install and upgrade software to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution: Analyze and resolve 2nd line support issues, implementing temporary or permanent fixes to restore service to customers.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients to promote a first-class level of customer service.
  • OT Equipment Support: Install, maintain, and support OT equipment, including infrastructure, printers, scanners, mobile devices, servers, and workstations.
  • User Account Management: Manage user account information, permissions, and rights, including groups within the OT Domain/AD.
  • Domain Administration: Administer the OT Domain/AD, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
  • Security Administration: Administer the security landscape, including WSUS, DLP, AV, Whitelisting, and other security tools.
  • Desktop Security: Identify and troubleshoot problems related to desktop security for OT-IT devices.
  • New Technology Evaluation: Participate in the evaluation of new technologies in coordination with team specialists.
  • Backup and Recovery: Monitor and ensure that tape and disk backups are run successfully on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Documentation: Create, maintain, and publish relevant support documentation to assist users in resolving incidents and service requests.
  • Project Support: Provide project support on imaging, testing, and rollouts.
  • Cabling and Installation: Aid and support on installations for cabling systems, including local area network cables, network interface cards, and switches.
  • Vendor Support: Aid and support with third-party suppliers and vendors for installations, repairs, and maintenance on OT systems.
  • Executive Support: Provide executive and VIP support to ADM users on-site.
  • Advanced Support: Provide advanced support to GT for complex projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: 2-year degree in an IT/OT-related field or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent IT/OT work experience and required performance level.
  • Business Acumen: Good attention to business relationship management and partnering with higher-level business users to ensure best levels of service are met.
  • Project Methodology: Familiarity with project methodology.
  • Autonomy and Flexibility: Flexible and autonomous, with good attention to detail and ability to show initiative.
  • Time Management: Ability to plan and prioritize workload and perform under pressure.
  • Communication: Good English language skills and willingness to work flexibly and with enthusiasm.
  • Driving Permit: Possession of a valid driving permit.
  • Availability: Flexible to work during weekends, public holidays, or after business hours on rare occasions.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10, Windows Servers 20XX), managing users, groups, and computers in Active Directory, and IT-OT security.
  • Security Skills: Knowledge of WSUS, DLP, AV, Whitelisting, and other security tools.
  • ITIL and Service Now: Familiarity with ITIL and the IT service management tool – Service Now.
  • Security Experience: Security skills and experience, including antivirus software, blacklisting, and whitelisting.
  • Network Standards: Knowledge of OT network standards, including DMZ and firewalls.
  • Active Directory: Familiarity with Active Directory and domain administration.
  • Technical Devices: Skills and experience with technical devices, including COM servers, scanners, cameras, and setup of devices.
  • RF Devices: Understanding of RF devices, including 4xx/8xxMhz and Bluetooth.
  • Wi-Fi Architecture: Understanding of Wi-Fi architecture, including Wireless HART.
  • Gateways: Familiarity with gateways, including VPN, OPC, Profinet, and Profibus.
  • Server-Based Systems: Skills and experience with server-based systems, including server hardware, virtualization, and terminal servers.
  • Workstations: Familiarity with technical workstations, including Windows 10 LTSB/LTSC.
  • Interfaces: Knowledge of interfaces, including RS232, 422, 485, USB, and special interfaces/interface cards.
  • OT Processes: Familiarity with OT-related processes, including backup processes and monitoring systems.
