Business Analytics Intern (f/m/x) - Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated intern to become a part of our Business Analytics Team, which is instrumental in harnessing, disseminating, and transforming data to furnish senior management with reports, analytics, and insights that facilitate strategic decision-making within our organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist our Business Analytics team and other departments at AUTO1 with the analysis, creation, and enhancement of reports, strategic market research, and corporate studies, as well as ad-hoc analyses.
  • Engage in the preparation and presentation of strategic, data-driven proposals and actionable recommendations for our senior management.
  • Maintain and refine existing reporting systems and queries, while also contributing to new initiatives.
  • Support the development of predictive models in collaboration with senior management.
  • Work directly and autonomously with the country’s VPs and local teams, taking responsibility for delivering analyses that enhance transparency and data awareness to drive organizational changes at a European level.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a leading European university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business with a strong quantitative emphasis.
  • Demonstrate a strong affinity for numbers and data, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach, exceptional analytical capabilities, and business insight.
  • Experience in consulting, M&A, Finance, or Business Intelligence is advantageous, along with familiarity in Google script programming and/or foundational knowledge of Python and R.
  • Ability to work independently and meticulously, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel, with SQL skills being highly desirable; fluency in English is a significant advantage.
