Position Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

The Clinical Sales Associate will play a crucial role in optimizing the use of installed da Vinci Surgical Systems.

Key Duties:

  • Execute the clinical sales strategy outlined by the Clinical Sales Manager to enhance the utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System.
  • Develop expertise in da Vinci Surgery, focusing on core indications within the designated region to facilitate the growth of surgical robotics programs.
  • Assist in regional Sales and Marketing initiatives aimed at increasing system awareness and procedure adoption.
  • Create tailored da Vinci Surgery plans for surgical teams to ensure they can operate the system independently within a reasonable timeframe based on their volume and access.
  • Promote the use of the da Vinci system by collaborating with surgical teams to identify suitable cases and ensure consistent application.
  • Expand the user base by engaging with key hospital personnel and surgeon thought leaders to cultivate a qualified lead pipeline; interactions with senior hospital staff and key opinion leaders will be supported by the Clinical Sales Manager.
  • Guide surgical teams through training sessions, providing insights on system operations, OR integration, and da Vinci Surgery applications.
  • Serve as a resource for surgical teams, offering guidance and support regarding the da Vinci Surgical System during procedures.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities, including reporting on sales/procedures, tracking outcomes of sales activities, and submitting expense reports.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of two years in support and training within the medical device sector or two years of prior sales experience in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated success in sales support or a proven track record in Sales.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and the local language as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on account distribution.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Operating Room environment is preferred.
