We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Production to join our team at AMSilk GmbH. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying our CMO industrialization strategy, overseeing all aspects of our yarn spinning activities, and ensuring that our projects meet strategic targets and stay within budgets and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Spinning Strategy: Develop and deploy our CMO industrialization strategy to implement our overall strategic plan for upscaling.
- Lead R&D Department: Lead our R&D department, including the R&D team, pilot line, and CMO team, to drive innovation and improvement in our spinning operations.
- Scale-up Spinning Operations: Be responsible for the scale-up of spinning operations at CMO in line with our business strategy, including contract negotiations.
- Ensure Project Success: Ensure that projects meet strategic targets, stay within budgets and deadlines, and comply with laws, regulations, HSE, and AMSilk's values and code of conduct.
- People and Organizational Development: Execute people and organizational development to drive business growth and improvement.
- Master's Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering
- Extensive Experience in Leading Operations: Extensive knowledge in leading operations, departments, or large-scale consultancy projects in the chemical, chemical recycling, chemical EPCM, or chemical fiber industry.
- Manufacturing and Distribution Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes and global distribution networks, and ability to use innovative technology to resolve problems and implement business solutions.
- LEAN Production Philosophy: Understanding and execution of LEAN production philosophy, including leading holistic performance and cost improvement projects, and understanding different kinds of Project Management tools.
- Operational KPIs and Reporting: Experience in operational KPIs, and reporting/review processes to ensure continuous improvement of operational performance.
- Fluency in English: Fluency to business level in both written and spoken English.
- Experience in Reporting to C-Level Management: Experience in reporting to C-Level Management and investors.
