About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to join our team at CARSYNC GmbH, a leading provider of business mobility solutions. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility by driving the development of our microservices-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Java 8+
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop REST APIs, Kafka events, and integrations
  • Contribute to the development of our SaaS solution, used by over 360 customers with service and pool vehicles
  • Participate in agile software development methodologies, including SCRUM and Kanban
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java Web Development
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with databases and messaging systems like MySQL, Redis, and Kafka
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices
