IT Process Optimization Specialist

The IT Business Development Team plays a crucial role in assisting over 40 Development Teams at ABOUT YOU Tech in refining and enhancing their projects and workflows. This involves close collaboration with senior management and Tech & Product Leads within the organization. The team's initiatives are diverse, encompassing external software selection, migration projects, cost center planning, IT investment evaluations, cost reduction strategies, process implementation, and organizational change projects.
The Process Manager position is essential for facilitating change management, particularly in the context of newly established teams and other organizational transformations. This role includes supporting the implementation of new processes and assessing existing ones. Additionally, the Process Manager will lead team workshops throughout the organization, such as retrospectives and sessions aimed at improving inter-team processes. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including leads and their development teams from ABOUT YOU and SCAYLE, to gain insights into their operational methodologies.
- Promote continuous improvement within teams by facilitating regular retrospectives aimed at enhancing current practices.
- Lead team workshops across the organization, including team-building activities, sessions to enhance cross-team processes, project retrospectives, and workshops focused on agile, lean, and kanban methodologies.
- Enhance our technology organization through lean process optimization, increased automation, and support for organizational change management.
- Act as a problem-solver and change agent, identifying efficient and pragmatic solutions.
- Serve as a JIRA administrator, enabling the implementation of streamlined processes for non-technical teams.
- Acquire valuable insights into a wide array of teams and processes across the ABOUT YOU group, utilizing the latest technologies and tools to support our 40+ Tech Teams.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in project management or process implementation.
- Demonstrated initiative, solution-oriented mindset, business value perspective, and creativity in task execution.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a structured approach to work.
- Analytical thinking and a conscientious approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in English (minimum C2 level), both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agile and lean methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Extreme Programming (preferably as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master).
- Background in consulting.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence, including administrative knowledge of these tools.
- Expertise in change management, particularly in process introduction and organizational transformation.
- Experience in IT consulting.
- Agile certification or practical experience in agile process implementation.
- A degree in Work/Business Psychology or related fields.
- Proficiency in the German language.
