We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Planning team.

Position: Director / Head of Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Planning (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the brand strategy, positioning, and marketing planning processes.
  • Oversees the creation and implementation of global frameworks, KPIs, and guidelines, empowering marketing and sales teams to adapt these frameworks to local contexts.
  • Manages marketing initiatives and the budget planning and approval process in collaboration with headquarters and regional/local stakeholders.
  • Cultivates a shared vision and understanding of marketing that is both business-driven and value-oriented, focusing on: Brand Positioning, Brand Governance, Marketing Strategy, Media Planning, Marketing Excellence, Onboarding Programs, Marketing Research, and Procurement.
  • Represents the Global Brand Marketing Department in meetings and project teams.
  • Includes the disciplinary and professional management of one part-time employee.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with an international brand manufacturer or in a media/advertising agency, specializing in marketing planning, KPI tracking, budget management, and brand strategy.
  • Embraces a coaching leadership style.
  • Exhibits strategic and analytical thinking combined with a proactive approach.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Possesses a high level of intercultural awareness and international experience.
  • A collaborative personality, adept at bridging gaps between sales and marketing, headquarters and local units, as well as B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Demonstrates persistence, resilience, and a strong tolerance for ambiguity.
