Regional Sales Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Leader to join our Animal Health team in the DACH & Nordics region. As a trusted partner of farmers and food professionals, Ecolab believes that hygiene is health and that health is the key to more profitability and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sales budget of the region, with a focus on achieving double-digit growth rates.
- Improve the skills of the sales teams through professional training and field visits at key accounts.
- Provide technical support, answering technical questions related to our products and biosecurity, and proposing solutions.
- Offer commercial guidance, including follow-up on pricing and orders, in collaboration with our customer service team.
- Report to the Animal Health Sales Leader and establish action plans and sales targets based on agreed strategies.
- Coach and lead a team of eight sales associates.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners in the territory.
Requirements
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is a must; any other language would be a plus.
- University degree in Animal Science, Veterinary, Engineering, or Business.
- B2B sales working experience, dynamic and entrepreneurial.
- People management experience.
- Ideal in-depth knowledge of animal production, with specific knowledge either species-related (poultry or swine) or in the health- or nutritional field.
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time in the territory.
