Database Administrator PostgreSQL Job Opening

ODAV AG, a technology partner for crafts businesses, is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join their team. With over 50 years of experience, ODAV AG provides high-quality software solutions and IT services to crafts businesses and their organizations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Setting up and maintaining a new PostgreSQL environment for the development of core applications
  • Operating central database environments
  • Collaborating closely with Oracle database administrators
  • Working across teams with our software development team
Your Profile
  • Completed technical or scientific studies or a degree as an IT specialist
  • Experience in database administration
  • Good knowledge of modern database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Linux operating systems
  • Strong skills in backup, recovery, security, and integrity
  • Knowledge of database design and documentation
  • Practical experience with automated rollouts such as Liquibase is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
