Lead Engineer for Process Control Technology

We are seeking a talented individual for our Electrical & C&I Engineering department to spearhead the development of growth initiatives aligned with our sustainability strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in process control technology with a focus on procedural expertise.
  • Conduct foundational planning for control systems, including the preparation of tender documents and execution of projects in power generation, gas technology, and renewable energy.
  • Establish and implement quality assurance measures.
  • Manage project execution while adhering to relevant technical standards, regulations, and laws.
  • Develop measurement and automation concepts.
  • Create technical standards to integrate quality requirements during the planning phase.
  • Oversee external planners.
  • Incorporate Uniper's safety culture from the planning stage.

Your Profile

  • Degree in automation technology or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in supplier management (technical and commercial).
  • Project management experience in both national and international contexts.
  • Expertise in planning control systems, gas, and process measurement technology.
  • Knowledge of automation systems.
  • Familiarity with functional safety (SIL) and IT/OT security.
  • Strong process orientation, organizational skills, and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
