BIOTRONIK, a leading manufacturer of cardio- and endovascular medical devices, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join its Global Product Cybersecurity group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving cloud infrastructure security initiatives and ensuring the security of our medical products throughout their entire lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure comprehensive security of cloud-hosted backend systems.
- Develop and evaluate robust security concepts for our solutions, utilizing advanced threat modeling techniques to identify potential risks and define mitigation measures.
- Manage security testing and reviews, including outsourcing to third-party cybersecurity providers.
- Provide expert consultation and support to development and operations teams for security monitoring and incident handling.
**Requirements**
- Strong technical proficiency in cloud technologies (preferably MS Azure) and cloud security concepts.
- Advanced capability in analyzing complex issues and proposing effective solutions.
- Proficient communication skills and a cooperative mindset.
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or risk management.
- Academic degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent.
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written.
