About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team at Olympus as an Endoscopic Solutions Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our digital products and services, and leveraging this knowledge to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep working knowledge of our digital products and services
  • Work closely with Capital Sales teams to demonstrate our software and develop sufficient working knowledge of digital products
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors
  • Empower Territory Managers to sell digital products and related services in a defined territory/country
  • Establish relationships and pitch to technical stakeholders
  • Sell and/or support sales to a range of customer contacts, including Clinical, Technical, Operational, and Executive level contacts
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential customers to secure new digital product orders
  • Follow-up on all leads supplied and ensure internal systems are updated
  • Provide technical information and act as a technical sales consultant
  • Showcase product in reference visits and educate customers on value proposition
  • Manage solution trials and coordinate digital solution installation/implementation
  • Guide potential customers through the buying process
  • Perform training of super-users for basic offering customers
  • Monitor usage and follow-up with external stakeholders to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of account
  • Execute, support, and monitor pre-sales contract excellence and governance
  • Responsible for GDPR/Data Privacy alignment consultancy for GI sales force and customers
  • Train customers on software features and functions

Requirements

  • Successful completion of technical, scientific, medical, or business studies (e.g. undergraduate degree or equivalent level of educational or technical qualification)
  • Minimum of 3 years selling experience; 5 years preferred
  • Must have sales experience focused on SaaS/software sales, healthcare industry preferred
  • Successful experience managing sales opportunities highly preferred
  • Experience with supporting and driving commercial strategies
  • Profound knowledge of operating systems (Windows, iOS)
  • Profound knowledge of IT network topologies, their setup, and maintenance
  • Good knowledge of cloud solutions
  • Technical and IT knowledge of Audio, Video
  • Working knowledge of MDR regulations and their usage
  • Preferably knowledge and experience with interoperability: HL7, DICOM
  • Good communication skills in German, as well as in English (bilingual; written and spoken)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to different audiences, including experience presenting to technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of how digital healthcare solutions offer value to customers
  • Strong clinical knowledge and aptitude; comfortable working with physicians in the clinical environment
  • Ideally understanding of the competitive gastroenterology and customer solutions landscape
  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Well-developed listening, influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and a drive for results
  • Willingness to travel up to 60 to 80% of working time
  • Occasional evening and weekend work from home required
