Job Title: Director Procurement Direct Material International

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director Procurement Direct Material International to join our team at the Berner Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the procurement function for direct materials, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global procurement strategy for direct materials, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of procurement activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet the company's needs.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement a supplier selection and nomination process, ensuring that we work with the best suppliers in the industry.
  • Ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the company's sustainability and social responsibility goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement leadership, with a strong track record of success in driving cost savings and process improvements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the globe.
