Head of Indirect Procurement

DSJ Global, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead their indirect procurement team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement a procurement strategy that drives cost savings, improves quality, and enhances supplier relationships.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage key suppliers to ensure high levels of service, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cost Savings: Analyze spending patterns, identify opportunities for consolidation, and implement best practices in procurement to drive cost savings.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and IT, to understand procurement needs and deliver solutions that support business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Your Profile:
  • Education: A degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant professional certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 6-8 years of experience in procurement, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within an international industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of indirect procurement categories, including IT, facilities management, marketing, HR, and professional services. Proven track record of delivering cost savings and value through strategic procurement initiatives.
  • Language: Fluent in German and English is a must.
