Financial Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Manager to join our Strategic Finance team at TeamViewer. As an Investment Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the inorganic growth agenda and shaping the investment strategy for our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Strategy Development: Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and trends, develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company's financial objectives and risk tolerance.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, suggest strategies to maximize returns.
• Financial Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities, prepare detailed investment proposals and reports for the key decision makers.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including Controlling, Legal and Product Management to support overall corporate strategy and objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate investment strategies, performance, and risks to internal stakeholders, prepare and present regular reports and updates to the key decision makers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA level 1/2 or relevant professional certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in investment management, portfolio management, or a related role in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and risk management techniques.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
