Job Title: Third Party Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Third Party Governance Specialist to join our Procurement and Supplier Management team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our procurement processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and that our suppliers meet the necessary standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective third-party governance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet our standards and requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal customers and third-party managers on regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet our business needs.
Requirements:
  • Completed degree in business administration, economics, law, sustainability management, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in international supplier relationship management, vendor management, procurement of indirect goods, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting audits and assessments of suppliers and contractors.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant laws and standards in the procurement process.
  • Keen analytical abilities and proficiency in the use of procurement and service management tools.
  • Proficient user skills in German and English, with a flair for negotiation.
