About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Data Science and AI leader to lead our Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) Practice in Western Europe. As a key member of our global data leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of our practice across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Western European Data Science, ML/AI Practice and drive its growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with global data leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the practice
  • Develop and execute a plan to build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, and other professionals
  • Drive the development and implementation of AI and ML solutions across various industries and sectors
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to drive business value
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth
  • Represent EPAM at industry events and conferences to showcase our expertise and thought leadership

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth
  • Strong technical expertise in AI and ML, with a deep understanding of data science and engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Fluent in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
