About the Role
Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer to join our global team of tech specialists. As a key member of our engineering team, you will oversee the quality assurance process to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality before release.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure software quality
- Lead the QA team to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve Deutsche Bank's future state Anti Financial Crime capabilities
- Perform manual and automation testing with a focus on automation
- Create reusable business components of test, including plans, cases, data, schedules, and scripts
- Publish testing schedules and reports
- Retest corrections to ensure problems are resolved
- Analyze, document, and communicate results
- Prepare and execute test scripts and ensure test results are correctly recorded
- Work with BA/FA and stakeholders to understand business requirements and functional and non-functional specifications
- Coordinate UAT testing with business users and downstream systems
- Provide information to enable fact-based decisions
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
Your Skills and Experience
- Participation in testing certification programs (Six Sigma, CSTE, ISTQB, ISEB, or CSTP)
- Hands-on experience in developing or testing complex software systems
- Knowledge of writing SQL queries and debugging procedures in Oracle
- Practical experience of test-driven development and constant refactoring in a continuous integration environment
- Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban, or XP
- Understanding of testing across the full software development lifecycle
- BE/BTech/MTech from an accredited college or university, ideally with an IT-related concentration
