We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Amazon CS Berlin GmbH. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in creating outstanding employee experiences through all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely and conscientious response to employee inquiries, ensuring seamless communication and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaboration with the team on complex issues or unclear situations, including absence bookings, complaints, and payroll tasks.
  • Assistance in preparatory payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Creation and sending of letters to employees, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Preparation and submission of works council hearings, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.
  • Support for employees and managers regarding HR processes, systems, and resources, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Preparation of data on critical business metrics, such as attendance, turnover, engagement, workforce planning, and more.
  • Advocating for the employee experience, effectively collaborating with managers, partners, and core teams to provide top-notch service and educate employees on self-service tools.
  • Planning, coordinating, and implementing employee activities to create an inclusive environment, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
  • Assisting managers in answering employee questions on time/attendance, payment, benefits, policies, and absences, providing expert guidance and support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school or equivalent education
  • Experience in confidential environments, demonstrating discretion and professionalism
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Fluency in German language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in human resources, with a focus on employee experience and engagement
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and associate issues, upholding the highest standards of professionalism
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and basic formulas
  • Human Resources or Customer Service training and experience, with outstanding interpersonal skills, patience, and helpfulness
