About the Role

Ottobock is seeking an IT Solutions Manager to join our global team. As a key partner to our business, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable IT solutions that meet the needs of our specialist departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Derive and document IT requirements and desired changes from business stakeholders
  • Develop technical IT solution concepts in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business process consultants, application managers, and enterprise architecture
  • Assess the effort and costs of proposed solutions, identify risks, and prepare approval decisions
  • Manage the use of internal and external resources to ensure reliable service delivery, including issue resolution
  • Coordinate and prioritize IT requirements with business stakeholders and central IT managers

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in business informatics or a related field
  • Several years of international experience in demand management and project coordination
  • Knowledge of solution architecture with a holistic view of business solutions
  • Solid IT knowledge and process understanding of the business side
  • Proficient communication and documentation skills
  • Strong understanding of service delivery, results-oriented thinking, and assertiveness
  • Excellent communication and assertiveness skills, with a willingness to handle conflict and customer orientation
  • High level of motivation to find solutions to professional and technical problems quickly and effectively
  • Business fluent German and good English skills
