About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Lecturer to join our team at GUS Germany GmbH. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of English Language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality academic modules and courses in English Language, aligned with the curriculum and program requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods and materials to engage students and promote learning outcomes.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student assignments, exams, and other academic work, using a fair and consistent approach.
  • Supervise and guide students in their academic progress, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of English Language and incorporate relevant research and best practices into your teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees, contributing to the development of academic policies and procedures.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject matter expertise.
Requirements
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in English Language or a related field.
  • Proven teaching experience in higher education, preferably at the university level.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Fluent spoken and written English (C2 level).
  • Knowledge of German is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of educational platforms and timetabling software.
  • Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules.
