Your Responsibilities

- Provide counsel on complex IT-related issues in the M&A context, focusing on integration and carve-out IT strategies, IT organization, governance, and infrastructure.
- Assess IT-specific risks and synergies during the separation or consolidation of companies or business units.
- Define, plan, and implement intricate carve-outs and post-merger integrations specifically for the IT sector.
- Conduct comprehensive business and technological analyses of the entire IT landscape (hardware, software, communication, and networking technologies) of target companies.
- Identify integration objects within the IT framework and determine the depth of integration (e.g., separate continuation, standardization, data exchange, or best-of-breed solutions).
- Prepare IT due diligence reports, conduct client interviews, and create presentations and proposals to maintain client relationships.
- To become a (Senior) IT Strategy Manager with us, you should hold a degree in (Business) Engineering, (Business) Informatics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- You should have three to five years of professional experience in information technology within a consulting firm and/or in strategy development, business development, mergers & acquisitions, digital business models, or in-house consulting in this industry.
- Ideally, you possess initial knowledge in IT due diligence, business plan analysis, enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, and IT strategy, as well as in carve-out management or IT post-merger integration.
- Additionally, you should have some project management and leadership experience.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills are essential, along with a passion for addressing complex challenges.
- You should demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess fluent English proficiency; additional language skills are a plus.
- As our clients operate globally, a willingness to travel is required, and international experience is advantageous.
- Your ability to work collaboratively in a team and your persuasive presence will complete your qualifications.
