SAP Data Migration Specialist

K-Recruiting Life Sciences is seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Data Migration Coordinator to join our team on a freelance basis.

As a key member of the project, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful migration of data within a complex SAP transformation initiative. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of data migration planning, execution, and monitoring, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the process.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive data migration plans, adhering to predefined timelines and milestones, while effectively coordinating efforts across all involved parties.
  • Lead regular meetings to track progress, identify potential risks, and address any emerging issues.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of data mapping documentation from internal project contributors and diligently monitor the transformation process.
  • Coordinate and manage data migration-related activities for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing phases.
  • Monitor the defect resolution process associated with data migration, mitigating risks and ensuring prompt issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, facilitating communication and collaboration between relevant teams to resolve migration challenges effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive status reports to stakeholders, providing clear insights into project progress and key milestones.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SAP transformation projects, with a particular focus on data migration initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential for effective communication within the project team and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry's requirements is a valuable asset.
