  • In your new position as Data Migration Manager (f/m/d), you will oversee and direct the data migration project workstream within a significant business transformation initiative, primarily centered on SAP.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring a successful end-to-end data analysis, transformation, and migration process.
  • Your role will involve leading project managers who coordinate data migration tasks for multiple companies and releases, while also managing relationships with external vendors and software providers.
  • You will handle stakeholder relationships, critical dependencies, commercial feasibility, and the complete budgeting process for the aforementioned activities.
  • Your responsibilities will include defining, refining, and communicating an effective framework for planning and monitoring the end-to-end data migration process, ensuring alignment with program standards and collaboration with business and IT teams, both within and outside the program, as well as with service providers.
  • You will supervise all activities, including kick-off meetings, workshops, status updates, and working sessions, to ensure successful testing cycles and a final migration.
  • Additionally, you will serve as the primary contact and dependable liaison between clients, the project team, and our key account managers across various Siemens business sectors.
  • You will also act as a sales channel for Shared Services, promoting additional services and generating new business opportunities.
What You Need to Make a Difference.
  • A completed degree in economics, business informatics, or a related field, or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive professional experience as a project manager or coordinator, collaborating with diverse business and IT groups across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Several years of experience in large-scale transformation projects within a complex matrix organization and stakeholder environment.
  • Experience in managing teams across different continents and time zones.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the common migration tools, such as LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, or similar tools.
  • Cross-module SAP knowledge, particularly in finance and logistics.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities, along with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction, complemented by excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including customers, suppliers, managers, and colleagues, with a proven track record of effective communication with client representatives and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated project successes and references that highlight your capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel for business, while also adept at virtual project management.
  • Fluency in both German and English to enhance your profile.
