About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Waldemar Link GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and components for our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and components.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analyses to identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on procurement activities and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as procurement, supply chain management, or engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Language: Fluency in English and German.
