Global Supply Chain Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of tesa, a leading global manufacturer of adhesive solutions, you will take charge of the financial oversight for our logistics and materials management operations. This role is integral to shaping our financial strategies and ensuring the efficiency of our supply chain processes.
- Deliver strategic financial insights to the Head of Global Supply Chain, ensuring effective control over logistics and materials management.
- Serve as a financial consultant to logistics and materials management teams, aiding in daily operations and project execution.
- Monitor and manage the financial components of tesa's global supply chain to ensure cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance the global monitoring and management framework.
- Plan and forecast supply chain expenditures, aligning various processes and components.
- Oversee the planning, forecasting, and monitoring of service charges related to global logistics and central warehouse operations in Europe.
- Support decision-making by conducting comprehensive financial analyses and presenting critical insights and recommendations.
- Enhance reporting processes, engage in international business initiatives, and implement cross-departmental optimization projects.
Qualifications Required
- Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in operational controlling, preferably within the supply chain domain.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Team-oriented with a confident approach, demonstrating initiative and assertiveness.
- Committed to driving improvements and contributing to a motivated and dynamic team.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary business practices for financial assessment.
- Experience in international environments, either through work or study.
- Proficient in ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytical/visualization tools is advantageous.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with German language skills being a plus.
