About the Role

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Technology Project Manager to join our team. As a Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in delivering large-scale, high-risk, strategic projects utilizing SAP Next Generation solutions and innovative technology. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful transition of our SAP systems to the cloud, enhancing scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget, and project quality criteria.
  • Manage SAP primed projects utilizing the SAP Field Services Project Management Methodology, which includes the proper use of methodology, tools, procedures, and governance to best meet project objectives.
  • Coordinate work between various parties, including third-party subcontractors, SAP Custom Development, and SAP Global Delivery.
  • Provide onsite presence for SAP as required to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Hence, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technology, project management, and cloud migration strategies.
Requirements
  • Above-average bachelor or master's degree in computer science, natural science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant job experience, e.g., professional experience as SAP (sub) project manager or SAP technical expert.
  • Proven experience in (part) project management in the SAP environment.
  • Intercultural business and team skills, preferred with experience in leading virtual teams.
  • Profound knowledge in at least one of the following technical domains: SAP infrastructure, integration, or development.
  • Solid knowledge about Cloud technology & migration concept from a technical perspective.
  • Ability to plan, run, and support workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
  • Initial experience working with global delivery teams.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills, in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel (national & international).
