Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated engineer to spearhead the development of novel test carrier formats tailored for Point of Care platforms while assessing external technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop diagnostic test carriers for Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, and Blood Gas / Electrolytes independently.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments for innovative formats and materials.
  • Play a pivotal role in the enhancement and refinement of test carrier materials.
  • Plan, execute, and meticulously document project tasks and sub-projects.
  • Engage in comprehensive literature and patent research.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Microsystems Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Medical Technology or R&D within Medical Devices.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Care Diagnostics and Microfluidics is advantageous.
  • Competence in handling human samples.
  • Expertise in analytical methods and microscopy.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
