Position Overview:
The Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the maintenance operations of its facilities. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep of the Stuttgart campus, including the GPC, Welding Annex, and Training Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance and custodial staff.
- Manage the security systems for all campus buildings and the motor pool.
- Implement and maintain an efficient campus work order system.
- Report maintenance activities and requirements to the Plant Maintenance Director.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory maintenance role or similar position.
- Strong technical expertise in building systems, including electrical and heating.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage budgets and performance metrics effectively.
- Exceptional planning and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
